Steel windows can be used in diverse ways to create and complement any style of architecture. The inherent strength of steel allows for the maximisation of glass pane size, whilst maintaining slim framing lines.

With the addition of dividing transoms and mullions, the hot rolled W20 and W60 profiles can also be used to create a more traditional style.

W20 Suite
This traditional heavy duty framing system, 32mm wide with 5mm thick flanges, was originally developed for commercial and industrial applications. It can accommodate single and insulating glass units with thicknesses of up to 20mm. It can be divided into small panes with welded tee glazing bars of 28mm wide or alternatively can be completely glazed to maximise your view.

W60 Suite
A suite of more contemporary design, the W60 can readily be fitted with self adhesive weather-seals for greater weather performance.
The W60 suite is 38mm wide and can accommodate single and insulating glass units up to 22mm thick.

Forster Hollow Profile Systems
Cold formed seam welded hollow profiles, typically 50mm wide, extend the scope of steel construction into heavy-duty doors, screens and curtain walls. The strength of the material allows for the largest available single glazing and insulated glass units to be used whilst maintaining the slender sightlines. Glazing units up to 30mm thick can be utilised within this section.
